'In Coyle v Coughlan [2019] IEHC 506, where tenants had remained in occupation, without paying rent, following service of a forfeiture notice (in respect of which they had not claimed relief), Allen J awarded the landlords a sum based on €2,166.67 per month for ‘use and occupation’.
