'In Bank of Ireland Mortgage Bank v Murray  IEHC 234 Baker J affirmed the principle that the Family Home Protection Act 1976 does not apply to dispositions by joint owners. However, the effect is the same where the signature of one of the spouses to the deed and family home declaration is forged. See also, para 16.57.'
